YPD is a volunteer-based organization. Over thirty volunteers make a minimum of a one-year commitment to facilitate support groups, mentor teen parents, and assist in skill building and social activities. Volunteers and mentors receive twelve hours of initial volunteer training and on-going monthly in-service training.
The staff consists of four full-time employees; Executive Director, Project Administrator, Career Counselor, Administrative Assistant, and three seasonal Job Coaches to coordinate our Summer Work Experience Project.
Youth Professional Development, YPD provides positive adult guidance, leadership and support for youth that can make a difference in their lives.
